"Women in Law: Myth or Reality" Panel Discussion
QUOTALS and the QUT Faculty of Law will be hosting "Women in Law: Myth or Reality" Panel Discussion on Wednesday 24th September 2008 at 5.30pm in the OJW Room, Level 12 S Block.
The purpose of the panel discussion is professional legal women to share their experiences with students, specifically how their career has developed and the difficulties they faced being a female lawyer. The discussion will be followed by canapes and beverages.
Admission to Practice Seminars
Come along and hear Dr Alan Chay (Director, QUT Legal Practice Course) talk about how to get admitted to practice in Queensland.
The talks will be held in C406 at 1pm on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th, Wednesday 17th and another at 4.30pm on Thursday 18th September.

Research Assistant wanted, preferably fulltime, but if need be I will work around classes. Seeking a person who is interested in law, but also accepts that there are a good deal of procedural and office matters on a day-to-day basis. This is not a position for a fulltime research assistant. It is effectively working alongside a barrister is a collegiate sense, doing any number of things that may need doing.
